Home for Christmas!

We were able to go home for a few weeks around Christmas to spend time with friends and family. It was a wonderful trip full of lots of relaxing, holiday fun, and traveling, including eight plane rides! We even enjoyed some beautiful snow! Here is a picture recap of our time at home.

The day before we left, all of Cameron's classmates gave him a big hug when I went to pick him up! He missed two weeks of school while we were home.

We spent a few days in our hometown at the beginning of the trip. When we arrived at the airport after our long flight, our luggage was nowhere to be found! Thankfully, it arrived the next morning!

We woke up the next morning to a beautiful, snowy day. This is a picture from my parent's front porch.

After a few days, Cole needed to head south for work, so we all went with him to visit with friends and family there.

We visited an animal park with some friends.

Cameron and Lydia...we secretly hope they get married! :)

We took care of some doctor appointments. Harrison is very healthy and happy!

We also got to spend some great quality time with Jessi and Jack!

We spent the last few weeks back with our parents. As a side note, it's been quite a while since Cole or I have been home and I forgot how beautiful the farmland is. We also have so many fond memories from our time there. For those who don't know where we lived, I took a few pictures around the house where I grew up.

Yes, that is a horse and buggy!

It was great to be able to spend so much time with each of our families while we were home. However, we were happy to be home when we arrived back in Gent!
